Summary of 2025

A few statistics:

1) I played eight live concerts both under my own name and as part of the Magury ’97 project.
2) I gave 3 presentations of my own field recordings, accompanied by talks and discussions.
3) I conducted 6 sound and walks in Podhale, Orava and Warsaw.
4) I released 7 albums with field recordings.
5) I released 2 albums with music as part of the ‘Chamber Music’ series.
6) I released 4 albums by other artists on my label Szara Reneta,
7) I mixed and mastered 5 albums by other artists, I was the sound engineer for one music album, I mixed and mastered 2 art installations,
8) I was the sound engineer on the sets of: 1 feature-length film, 1 feature-length documentary, and 8 short films. This does not include situations where I was a substitute sound engineer and/or assistant, or when I worked on formats such as commercials, trailers, YouTube videos, live broadcasts, student films, or projects that are currently in production.
9) jako post production sound mixer udźwiękowiłem, zmiksowałem 1 pełny metraż dokumentalny, 8 krótkich metraży fabularnych, 12 etiud studenckich, odpowiadałem za zmontowanie atmosfer do 1 filmu dokumentalnego i 1 filmu pełnometrażowego fabularnego. Znacznie rozbudowałem domowe studio: obecnie mogę komfortowo miksować w mono/stereo/LCR i 5.0. Nie zliczę ile bibliotek oryginalnych atmosfer/efektów dźwiękowych gotowych dostarczyłem na potrzeby udźwiękowienia różnych filmów,
9) As a post-production sound mixer, I added sound to and mixed 1 full-length documentary, 8 short feature films, and 12 student films. I was responsible for editing the soundscapes for 1 documentary and 1 full-length feature film. I have significantly expanded my home studio: I can now comfortably mix in mono/stereo/LCR and 5.0. I have lost count of how many libraries of original sound effects I have provided for the sound design of various films.
10) I recorded approximately 467 GB of field recordings and sound effects (mostly 4 tracks, 48 kHz or 96 kHz, 24 or 32 bits),
11) I completed a 2-year course in film sound production,
12) I closed my Instagram and Twitter accounts. I rarely use Facebook, you can usually find me on Mastodon, in the field, on set, and it’s best to contact me by phone or email,
13) I created two sound maps,
14) I started working as a sound editor for the Dział Zagraniczny podcast.
15) etc.

Thank you to everyone who made this year so creative. Thank you for the inspiring encounters. I apologise to everyone I may have let down. I tried my best, but I didn’t always succeed. See you in a better year, 2026!
