Recording, which I made on 1 January 2022 in Krowiarki in Chochołów, appeared in the 957th episode of the Framework Radio.
Krowiarki is a settlement located on top of a hill, far from the centre of the village, on the Polish-Slovak border. Until recently, the soundscape of the place was dominated by the sounds of the village and nature. For several years now, the place has been built up with tourist cottages, as it offers a view of the Tatra Mountains, the Gorce Mountains and Babia Góra.
On 1 January 2022, it was warm, rainy and windy. I managed to capture the silence of the early morning, when most people were still asleep after celebrating the New Year.
