The first episode of Filip Szałasek’s FIELD•MEET podcast documents reflections on the connections between the audiosphere and the anthropocene. In the first episode, I appear both as an interlocutor and as the person responsible for editing the episode and creating the jingle.
FIELD•MEET podcasts are created as a continuation and extension of the series of discussion meetings with the same title. For some time now, Filip Szałasek has been meeting with record holders to discuss premieres and archival field recordings. In the podcasts, fragments of our conversations are interwoven with recordings – so that alongside the voices we can hear the surroundings, which (as some falsely claim) have no voice.
